The meeting was called to order at 9 am. In attendance were Supervisors Brandt and Wortham and the Clerk. In addition, the auditor Judy Moravic was in attendance.

A discussion took place regarding the review of the annual audit:
1. Audit company completed all payroll filings to date;
2. Presented schedule for future filings;
3. Provided corrected W-2 for all employees and supervisors;
4. Provided updated federal 941 forms to be signed and mailed;
5. Provided updated state filing forms to be signed and mailed;
6. Provided documentation of PERA filings to date;
7. Provided list of checks to be issued to refund employees for excess FICA withheld during 2011;
8. Reviewed current fund balances and adjustments;
9. Reviewed findings of fact to be reported to the State Auditor;
10. Reviewed management letter with suggestions for improvements to internal controls.

The meeting then continued to the Annual Qualification discussion.

The clerk asked for nominations for Chairman for the Ideal Township Board of Supervisors for the year 2012. Motion by Wortham, seconded by Brandt to nominate Jim Brandt for the 2012 chair. Carried – unanimous.

The assignment of duties for the Board members was discussed and made as follows:
1. Road and Bridge Brandt
2. Fire Department Liaison Wortham
3. Transfer Station ---(new supervisor when appointed)
4. Park and Recreation ---(new supervisor when appointed)
5. Weed Control Brandt
6. Safety Officer Wortham
7. Townhall Building/Grounds Wortham
8. Big Island Liaison Brandt
9. Public Communications Brandt, Wortham, ---(new supervisor when appointed)
10. Comprehensive Plan Wortham
12. Planning and Zoning Brandt
13. Other Duties Unassigned ---(new supervisor when appointed)

Motion by Wortham, seconded by Brandt, to accept the proposed assignments as listed. Carried – unanimous

There being no further business to conduct, the meeting adjourned at 1:30 pm.
