The facility consists of a modern kitchen, meeting room, gymnasium/hall and rest rooms. It has been used for meetings, birthdays, anniversaries, wedding receptions, etc. Community Center capacity rating is 150 persons.
The facility is available to Ideal residents for non-refundable rental fee of $50 and to non-residents for $150. Rental fees are per day. A $200 deposit is required and will be refunded if the facility is left in a clean and serviceable condition.
The deposit and rental fees are waived for local non-profit organizations to use the facility for meetings or gatherings.
The facility can be reserved by calling the Clerk at 218-543-4392 or via email . Reservations are not finalized until the hall rental application form is completed and approved.
Tables and chairs are available for community groups & residents to use for gatherings while in the town hall. There are approximately 20 tables (30x96"), 150 metal folding chairs and 36 fabric padded chairs. Tables and chairs cannot be borrowed out to be used outside of the town hall.
Kitchen facility includes stove, refrigerator, microwave, and two large (100 cup) coffee pots. Any food items left in the hall kitchen will be disposed. Visiting the facility prior to event is recommended so you may customise a list of personal items to bring for use during your event.
An AED resuscitation device is located in the town hall in case of emergency.
