The meeting was called to order at 10:00 am. Board members Peterson, Wortham, and Bilek were in attendance, along with the Clerk and Deputy Clerk.
Chairman Peterson started by explaining that the purpose of the meeting is review the conditional use permit request by Daniel and Diane O’Klock to conduct a G3 Extractive Use Operation at 32498 Nelson Road.
Supervisor Bilek reported on his review of the application that included a DRT meeting in November and discussions with county staff. The gravel operation was in service before the property was detached from Breezy Point into Ideal. The use permit should have carried over through the detachment. The county has reviewed the case and felt the operation and application were done well. Applicant has worked with the county to delineate the nearby wetlands and identify water table depth in the area. No objection was received from neighboring property owners who were notified of the application.
Motion by Bilek, second by Wortham to recommend approval with no conditions. Carried unanimously.
There being no further business to conduct, the meeting adjourned at 10:05 am.
