The meeting was called to order at 11:00 am. In attendance were Supervisors Brandt, Peterson, and Wortham, and the Clerk.

A discussion of the current budget position as of year end 2013 and review of the approved budget for 2014 took place. The 2013 budget was $860,000 of which $820,967 was spent. The budget for 2014 is $881,000. The 2015 budget proposal must be ready for the residents to approve at the Annual Meeting on March 11, 2014.

Discussion continued with a review of large items slated for purchase in coming years, including a salt/sand shed, a larger ditch mower, replacement of the 1-ton truck, a pumper/tanker truck, and contract work for clearing road right of ways.

Preliminary proposed budget for 2015 was set at $912,000, but will be further reviewed and refined before final proposal.

Discussion regarding the Trout Lake Camp CUP hearing took place beginning with a review of documents submitted to date. The board will further review and take action at the regular board meeting on Monday January 13th to determine the board’s recommendation to the county planning commission.

There being no further business to conduct, the meeting adjourned at 1:10 pm.
