The meeting was called to order at 12:00 pm.  All members, the Clerk, and 3 staff members were in attendance.

Supervisor Peterson welcomed the staff to the luncheon and thanked them for all the work they do all year.

Peterson presented an organizational chart meant to clarify the way employee issues are to be handled. Under the plan, part-time employees report to the Board Supervisor in charge of their area, and full-time employees report to the Board Chair.

Peterson announced the wage rate increases adopted at the December Board Meeting and outlined some of the other benefit cost increases for the new year – health insurance premiums are up 6.3%, and the Township contribution to employee HSA accounts was raised 12.5% to compensate for the increased deductible amounts included in the health insurance renewal.

A discussion occurred recounting some of the activities over the past year and looking forward to the new year. Staff were encouraged to share their ideas and comments to make sure they have what they need to do their jobs. Several ideas were given and discussed to be followed up over the coming weeks.

There being no further business to conduct, the meeting adjourned at 1:30 pm.
