The meeting was called to order at 8:30 am. Board members Peterson, and Bilek were in attendance, along with the Deputy Clerk, and many other surrounding community City Officials and Commission Members of Crosslake, Crosby, Fifty Lakes, Pequot Lakes in attendance.

The officers participated in a regional workshop with open forum discussion hosted by the Crosslake Economic Development Authority (EDA) held at Crosslake City Hall. Topics included sharing experiences, challenges, and opportunities that we have within our communities such as economic growth and overall welfare needed for future sustainability. After listing many issues that affect economic growth a few key issues stood out such as housing, infrastructure, telling of a community’s story, and funding sources. The discussion touched on how to best tackle growth that promotes a healthy inclusive environment that benefits these communities as a whole strengthening a year around economic future. A sub group was created to focus primarily on the housing issues. A follow up meeting is scheduled for October 2.

No Board action was taken.

There being no further business to conduct, the meeting adjourned at 10:00 am.
