The meeting was called to order at 3:00 pm. In attendance were Supervisors Brandt, Peterson, and Wortham, and the Clerk.

The clerk confirmed that notice of the special meeting was posted on April 4th satisfying the requirements.

Supervisor Brandt reviewed the purpose of the meeting to address a possible violation of the Ideal Fire Department Bylaws Section 2-195. All discussion will be restricted to this topic only. Under authority provided under Minn. Stat. 13D.05 subd. 2(b) the meeting is to be closed to evaluate performance of an employee. As prescribed, audio recordings of the proceedings are being made and will be retained.

The board then went into closed session.

The Board concluded that no disciplinary action is warranted. A letter to the firefighter and a summary of the proceedings will be filed in the firefighter’s personal file.

There being no further business to conduct, the meeting adjourned at 6:05 pm.
