The meeting was called to order at 8:00 am.  Supervisors Peterson, and Bilek; Supervisor-elect Johnson; and the Clerk were present.

The Clerk presented Johnson with a Certificate of Election. The Oath of Office was administered by MAT staff.

The officers received training by the MN Association of Townships. After the training sessions, the Board convened to conduct the Reorganizational Meeting.

The clerk presented an agenda of reorganizational items:

1. Motion by Johnson, second by Bilek to select Peterson as Board Chair. Carried unanimous.
2. Motion by Peterson, second by Johnson to select Bilek as Board Vice Chair. Carried unanimous.
3. The schedule of regular Town Board meetings was confirmed as the 2nd Monday of each month at 7 pm at the Town Hall. If falls on legal holiday, the Board will meet the following day at the same time & place. For purposes of Town Board meetings, Columbus Day is considered to be a holiday. The Board Chair will make the cancelation call in cases of extreme weather.
4. The public notice policy was confirmed with the official newspaper as named at the Annual Meeting to be Echo/Journal with notices also published in the Northland Press. Posting of notices will be on the bulletin board outside the Town Hall entrance and on the Township website at idealtownship.com.
5. Assignment of duties was confirmed as approved at January 6th Special Meeting.
6. Town depository confirmed as accepted at the Annual Meeting – Lakes State Bank & American National Bank.
7. The list of officers was completed to be submitted to the county and the township association.
8. Set operational policies:
   1. a. Office hours are 10-3 Monday-Friday.
   2. b. Photocopy price is $0.10 per page
   3. c. Hall rental policy as presented.
   4. d. Reviewed consolidated insurance coverages. Building values to be increased as noted for some structures. Clerk bond will be increased at renewal November 1. List of contractor equipment will be confirmed and deductible increased at renewal.
   5. e. Website is in process of update that will enable greater control and better support at new hosting site. Officers & employees will be provided with email accounts @idealtownship.com to be used for township business.

There being no further business to conduct, the meeting adjourned at 4:00 pm.
