Chairman Wortham called the meeting to order at 9:30 A.M. All Board members were in attendance.
The budget for 2007 was discussed. The future needs of the Fire Department and Maintenance Department were discussed in length. Supervisor Brandt reported on the purchase of a new plow truck and salt building for the maintenance department. Chief Schultz advised the Board of equipment needs for the North-side substation for the Fire Department.
The Board also discussed the upcoming road improvement schedule, which included a culvert on Wabigoniss and the township section of West Shore Drive.
The following budget proposal for 2007 was suggested.
General Revenue $105,000
Capital Reserve $150,000
Parks $ 5,000
Road & Bridge $135,000
Road Construction $150,000
Recycling $ 5,000
Fire Department $110,000
Total $660,000
