The meeting was called to order at 7:00P.M. by Chairman Taylor. All members were present.
Bids for the tractor and mower were opened. There were 2 bids. Doyle Equipment's bid was $48,435.44. The bid from Nortrax was $57,600.00. Bach and Badger will study the bids to see that all the specifications were met.
Motion by Caughlan to award the bid based on the judgement of Bach and Badger after seeing that all specifications were met. Carried - unanimous
The treasurer's and clerk's books and Annual Financial Summary Reports were reviewed in detail by the Board of Supervisors.
Motion by Badger to accept the Annual Financial Summary Reports as accurately sating the receipts and disbursements of Ideal Township for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2000. Carried - unanimous
The budget for 2002 was considered at length. The fire truck was again discussed. Byway funding and a park fund was to be considered for the 2002 budget. Up to $5000 will be appropriated for the 2002 centennial celebration.
Motion by Taylor to submit the following budget proposal at the annual meeting March 13,2001:
General Revenue $75,000.00
Capital Reserve $106,500.00
Park $7,500.00
Road and Bridge $128,000.00
Construction $158,000.00
Fire $60,000.00
Total $530,000.00
