The clerk called the meeting to order at 9:00 A.M.

The clerk asked for nominations for Chairman of the Ideal Township Board of Supervisors for the year 2004.

Motion by Steffen to nominate Bill Wortham for the year 2004. Carried-­unanimous

The assignment of duties for the Board members was discussed and made as follows:

1. Road and Bridge - Bill Wortham
2. Fire Department Liaison - Dave Steffen
3. Transfer Station/Recycling - Jim Brandt
4. Parks and Recreation - Jim Brandt
5. Weed Control - Bill Wortham
6. Safety Officer - Dave Steffen
7. Buildings and Grounds - Jim Brandt
8. Big Island Liaison - Jim Brandt
9. Other Duties Unlisted - Bill Wortham
10. Land Acquisition Committee - Dave Steffen
11. Comprehensive Planning Coordinator - Dave Steffen
