The meeting was called to order at 4 pm. In attendance were Supervisors Brandt, Wortham & Badger, the Clerk and residents Dave Johnson and Jim Schultz.
Supervisor Badger explained situation with re-locating the Sno-Pros fuel tank, and how it relates to the other fuel tanks for the Fire Department and Maintenance equipment. Discussion continued on pros & cons of locating tanks over by the maintenance building. Brandt asked to have a review of the options and get more input from the Fire Chief.
Regarding the planning for the town hall renovations, Dave Johnson commented that the Board should consider future needs when planning. Supervisor Wortham explained his position that planning be limited in scope at this time because of limited funds available at this time for capital expenditures and that planning be focused on these priorities:
1. Adding file storage area adjacent to clerk’s office.
2. Renovate restrooms.
3. Upgrade septic system.
4. Provide sufficient area for fire department meetings.
A discussion continued whether to complete limited renovations now or plan for a larger plan to replace buildings over a longer term. The clerk presented a package of information that had been prepared by Chief Clasen that outlined a proposal for replacement of the town hall with separate fire hall and community center buildings.
The Board then conducted a tour of the facilities and discussed possible options.
There being no further business to conduct, the meeting adjourned at 5:25 pm.
