Household Hazardous Materials

Standard household hazardous items can be disposed of for free.  Crow Wing County requires a completed survey form for each user of this program.

Items do not stay on site. All hazardous items are transferred to the Crow Wing County Landfill for processing and proper disposal.  

Acceptable Items:

Paint, Stain, Solvents, Cleaners, Aerosol Cans, Herbicides, Pesticides, Lighter Fluid, Rust & Tar Removers, Paint Thinner, Pool Chemicals, and other products.
