Ideal Township Qualification Meeting, March 29th, 2007

The clerk called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m.

The clerk asked for nominations for Chairman for the Ideal Township Board of Supervisors for the year 2007.

Motion by Brandt, seconded by Plein to nominate Bill Wortham for the year 2007. Carried - unanimous

The assignment of duties for the Board members was discussed and made as follows:

1. Road and Bridge - Brandt
2. Fire Department Liaison - Wortham
3. Transfer Station and Recycling - Plein & Brandt
4. Park and Recreation - Plein
5. Weed Control - Brandt
6. Safety Officer - Wortham
7. Townhall Building and Grounds - Wortham
8. Big Island Liaison - Brandt
9. Public Communications - Plein
10. Maintenance Building Plan & Construction - Brandt & Wortham
11. Comprehensive Plan - Wortham
12. Planning and Zoning - Brandt
13. Other Duties Unassigned - Plein

Motion by Brandt, seconded by Plein, to accept the proposed assignment as listed. Carried - unanimous
