Ideal Township Qualification Meeting, April 4th, 2006

The clerk called the meeting to order at 10:10 am.

The clerk asked for nominations for Chairman for the Ideal Township Board of Supervisors for the year 2006.

Motion by Brandt, seconded by Plein to nominate Bill Wortham for the year 2006. Carried - unanimous

A discussion regarding duties at the Transfer Station and possible an emergency training run after NIMS training has been completed took place.

Motion by Wortham, seconded by Brandt, to appoint Fay Miller to the Long Range Planning Committee. Carried - unanimous

The assignment of duties for the Board members was discussed and made as follows:

1. Road and Bridge Jim Brandt
2. Fire Department Liaison Bill Wortham
3. Transfer Station/Recycling Jim Brandt
4. Parks and Recreation John Plein
5. Weed Control Jim Brandt
6. Safety Officer Bill Wortham
7. Buildings and Grounds John Plein
8. Big Island Liaison Jim Brandt
9. Public Communications John Plein
10. Land Use Planning Bill Wortham

The meeting adjourned at 11:15 am.
